Interested in Rowing for FSU?

Do you think you have what it takes to represent your school in one of the most exciting collegiate sports in the country? Collegiate level rowing is one of the most fiercely competitive and rewarding sports around. We are always recruiting dedicated individuals, regardless of prior rowing experience. Our Men's and Women's Novice and Varsity teams compete in large, highly competitive regattas against crew teams from throughout the nation. Typically, people that come out to join the team fall into one of the following groups::

Novice Rowers

-- These are people with little or no rowing experience, but usually have some athletic talent. The majority of the recruits we get each year fit into this category. Learning to row at FSU will bring you to the next level in terms of cardiovascular & anaerobic fitness and mental strength. We encourage any inexperienced rower to come try out for the team. All that is required is the ability to learn, and a desire to win.

Experienced Rowers

--If you have rowing experience at the highschool or college level, we encourage you to come try out for our varsity team. You will immediately have a chance to be rowing against top-notch athletes from numerous universities and colleges. Please contact us and tell us about your previous rowing accomplishments and experience, and your future rowing goals.
