2007 Head of the South

On November 10th, the team traveled to Augusta, Georgia for what would be the first race experience for many of our novice rowers. The 11th Annual Head of the South Regatta, hosted by the Augusta Rowing Club, was held on the beautiful Savannah River. Overall, the team did very well, beating boats from throughout the south in almost every event, and placing in the top half of the field in the Men's Novice 4+. The race was a great opportunity for our athletes to work out some of the kinks before the spring season officially begins. Results can be found on Regatta Central.
